Welcome on the Mons 2015 projects platform
Why submit a project to the Mons 2015 Foundation?
Mons 2015 wouldn’t be possible without you because first and foremost it’s a people’s event, bringing people together to participate. For Mons 2015 "European Capital of Culture" to succeed, it is of course vital to be able to count on the contributions not only of artists and performers, but also of associations and citizens. So we’re looking forward to your ideas and projects which, in the spirit recommended by the European authorities, should meet the set of criteria shown in the form below. Don't let them put you off! They're just there to help you find your way towards 2015. Projects will be accepted up to 31 December 2012 and submitted to a jury for selection in the first quarter of 2013.
About the platform
The "Projects exchange" platform is an interactive webpage that enables you to submit a project to the Mons 2015 Foundation. It also enables you to exchange ideas, comment on, and keep up to date about similar projects and create a network to increase the value of your own project, until the end of 2012.
For further information, see the "Help" section.

Help
Fill out the form to submit your project to the Mons 2015 team. All the fields are required, except for the file upload field, to help us better assess your project and its value for Mons 2015. Your project must fit into one of the 4 listed categories: Images, Sounds, Words or Memory. To find out more about the 4 categories, click here.
You can indicate that your project will be private, making all fields other than "Project title" and "Description" invisible to the public. Once you have submitted your project, you can promote it via Facebook and Twitter. The jury assembled in 2013 will take into account the popularity of projects when making their final selection.
Further help
Once registered on the platform, all project holders can administer their project via a username and password and modify and develop projects in real time up until 31 December 2012.
The Foundation will not make a definitive decision with regard to the selection of projects for 2015 before the first quarter of 2013, when a jury will make its selection in a completely transparent manner. The jury will take into account the various criteria to which you have responded via the website form.
